Need information re: (1) Elizabeh Findlater, widow of Peter McNichol, Gorbals, who married James Pollock at Old Monkland 22 June 1845. They probably stayed in Scotland. James is brother of the Alexander Pollock below. (2) Jean Findlater, b. 16 Sep 1806 Govan parish, Glasgow, m. in May 1832 to Alexander Pollock, b. 2 Dec. 1809 Campsie, Scotland. They died in 1890s in Pennsylvania, USA. She was christened 21 Sep 1806, in Gorbals, Lanark, parents were Alexander Findlater and Christian Marr. (3) Christine Findlater, some relation to Jean, married Jean and Alexander's son Alexander Pollock in 1861 or 1862 in Fall Brook, Tioga Co., PA, USA. She was born 14 May 1842 in Ayreshire, Scotland, died 1916 in Denver, CO, USA. Are these women on someone's research list? Contact me at margiebr@aol.com......Margie Bridges
