The person who visited your mother's family may possibly have been George Clark Findlater. George was the son of Robert Hutcheon Findlater who emigrated to Australia & died in Brisbane, Queensland in 1932. Robert Hutcheon was the son of Alexander Findlater & Mary Ann Clark & the youngest brother of Piper George Findlater. Robert Hutcheon is also the brother of your great-granfather, John Findlater who married Elsie Anderson.
